Heal Together

Many therapies and programs focus primarily on the most affected person, however, we know that everyone in the family feels the stress and strain.

Our 5-6 month program fast tracts families to a safer, more cohesive dynamic.  Depending on the severity of the situation, families generally require a minimum of 4 months of regularly scheduled sessions. The goal is not to feel better, the goal is restored emotional balance, improved relationships, and increased resilience.  Side benefits of improved mental clarity, sense of purpose, and accessing peak performance states are often reported.

    Phase 1: Enrollment & Foundation

Initial enrollment and orientation for all family members, establishing therapeutic goals.

    • Functional assessments: limbic and attachment function is determined based on your ability to process emotions in real time as well as through validated questionnaires.

    • Learning the core interoceptive technique: guided somatic exercise sessions, taylored assignments between sessions to achieve faster results.

    • Ketamine referral if needed.

    • Supportive coaching: accountability, and resource identification, team building, as needed.

    • Twice weekly individual sessions for 2-3 family members (parents/caregivers and child) focused on emotion balancing.

    • Exercises targeting limbic arousal:  practicing natural physiological downregulation.

    • Memory–emotion uncoupling: gently revisiting the sensory aspect of charged memories and activating natural feedback pathways to increase emotional balance.

Phase 3: Attachment Reset & Resilience

    • Continued emotional balancing, deepening emotional resilience.

    • Self-attachment work: parents and child continue interoceptive exercises to rebuild self-trust, resolve feelings of guilt, shame, low self-worth, unlovability, rejection, weakness, and brokenness, and disrupt self-sabotaging cycles.

    • Other-attachment recalibration: restoring relationship bonds with structured somatic attachment activities.

    • Empowering healthy boundaries and interdependence.

    • Medication weaning support as clinically indicated, coordinating with medical providers.

    Phase 4: Program Wrap-up

    • Final resilience and relationship assessments for each family member.

    • Closure: reflect on progress, reinforce mastery.

    • Coaching follow-up as needed to support continued growth.

    Industry Context and Competitive Insights

Compared to the top down approach with talk therapy, the LAIR™ Protocol's bottom-up, advanced somatic approach bypasses narrative “stuckness,” rapidly recalibrating emotional and attachment circuitry for sustainable change. By increasing neuroplasticity, our clients experience faster progress, and lasting resilience is known to result in higher rates of long-term empowerment and fewer relapses in self-sabotaging behaviors and attachment struggles. The emphasis on interoceptive emotional/limbic recalibration, natural resolution of attachment wounds, increasing resilience, and individual family member work distinguishes our unique program from less advanced models.

For maximum safety, all medication tapering plans should be coordinated with your licensed clinical provider and individualized for your family's specific needs.
